Data deletion
Your data has been deleted.
This page confirms what happens when a deletion request reaches Grobunchy, whether you made it here or through Instagram or Facebook.
What gets deleted
Everything derived from the account named in the request. That means the content we ingested, every metric observation taken from it, the features extracted from it, the patterns, insights, evidence and Growth Model facts built on it, the experiments and baselines that used it, and the stored authorization itself.
The record holding the platform's own identifier for your account goes too, since that identifier refers to you. Nothing is marked inactive and kept.
When it happens
Immediately. Deletion runs while the request is being handled and we answer once it is done, so there is no queue to wait behind and no status to come back and check.
Deleting versus disconnecting
Removing Grobunchy from your Instagram or Facebook settings is not the same request. That tells us the authorization is over, so we forget the credentials, and your history stays where it is in case you reconnect. Ask for deletion when you want the history gone as well.
You can also disconnect an account at any time from Settings inside the app, and request deletion from there.
